We used this convention as it is a good way to help narrate our trailer; meaning the audience are able to see what is coming up or gain some sort of understanding of what is happening.
REAL MEDIA EXAMPLE
Most trailers use captions to explain the story and build up tension. They are also used at the end to publicise the name of the film and they are also used to show other films that the director has made.
